Can be a bit tricky to find, especially if some of the gates aren't open. I parked near the Parrocchia SS. Ambrogio e Ignazio Church as there is an entrance just up from there. Really nice walking, lovely waterfalls, beautiful.

Large, relaxing park with some interesting sights
Jul 2017 • Couples
Splendid large park with mature trees. Well tended pathways and marked trails up to 17 km. Lovely moss and fern covered waterfalls. A Lebanese cedar several hundred years old—do smell the cut end that sticks out. Castle ruins to explore. A lovely green place worth visiting the appealing town of Laconi for.

Lovely walk
Aug 2016 • Family
This is a lovely park, in the shade, with a ruined castle overlooking the town and rolling hills. Sounds of church bells nearby punctuate your walk. 'Cascara maggiore' is not particularly high but is simply charming. This is great for an 1 hour stroll at the end of the day before dinner.

Uncontaminated nature, archaeology and folklore
May 2016 • Couples
The Park is an excellent destination for picnics and nice walks. It has several waterfalls, the largest of which is impressive. It is cool also on hot days and has tables for packed lunches. It can be reached very easily, as it is next to the old town. Nonetheless, it is quite big and includes the ruins of a medieval castle in its perimeter. If you go there on a Sunday, you can take a tourist train from the town of Mandas (on the road if you are coming from Cagliari), which will take you to Laconi through the beauties of the nearby region.

Very fascinating!!!
The entrance to this amazing park is situated near the centre of the village of Laconi. The park is huge: inside you will discover streams of water, waterfalls and a huge variety of trees and plants coming from all over the world. There is also a beatiful, ancient castle... It's like a fairy-tale!!!

Very nice and well managed
There are a lot of beautiful things to see: a fantastic castel started building around 1000 bc, a big waterfall and a lot of trees and plants. Moreover it's a great place to take fresh during summertime!
