One of the first places we visited in South of France, a bit off the Riviera. It was a wonderful drive through a valley. There are 3 packs of wolves there, and are pretty much independent, except for their food. There are students who are guides there, who know their stuff! We missed the feeding time of the wolves, but... More

We discovered 11 wolfes and had a good luck. It was real a good trip to that parc. Also you could learn a lot in the different stations in some farm houses or similar with videos or documentations or lively by the employees of the parc or watch a wolf feeding.

Visited whilst holidaying in Frejus. Hadn't really realised just how far it would be - was a good 2 hour drive but stunning mountain roads with great views. Not the place for a quick day trip though. the visitor centre seemed well set up with clear instructions about what to do. We enjoyed a pleasant walk through alpine woods and... More

We visited when the park was covered in snow which certainly enhanced the impression of being "in the wild"! The park offers the chance of truly watch the wolves in their "natural" habitat and we spend a good hour just observing how they worked as a pack. The park has an informative "Info Center" - we sat in on them... More

It's not just over an hour away from Nice - more like two hours. Along windy roads too. We were disappointed in this attraction as you don't really see much of the wolves - they are in the woods behind fences. We saw maybe three, just stood there not doing anything much! Don't pre-book online - you still have to... More

Went here as a chance to do something different. About a 90 min drive from vence as very winding roads. Most of the talk in French so we didn't understand it , n But was there for feeding time. Marvellous opportunity to see wolves in a natural environment and we spent time afterwards in the beautiful park and lake nearby.... More

The drive to the park is lovely through the Gorge, so is the natural surroundings in witch the park is situated. The entry to the park w tourist office is nicely built and has almost a jurassic kind of feel to it. However, as soon as our interactions with the staff started, expectations dropped. Lady at counter didn't really give... More

A wolf sanctuary - great idee - lot's of nice hikes around and worth a visit. Wolfs can only be seen from behind big glass walls - a measure to not disturb the wolfs. But in my view it removes some of the close impression towards these animals. The glass is like a big distance gap and it removes the... More

We spent much of a day visiting the wolf park and observing its inhabitants. With a bit of patience you can get excellent, close views of the animals. If I were a French speaker I would definitely give this place five stars. But as an English speaker I missed out on the various presentations given in French. The park is... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the park. It is very well planned and organized. It is set up so you can view the wolves from various station. A lot of information is provided about the wolves and the park. We drove from Nice but stopped at Eze on the way which was a mistake. If you are going to... More
