This place is full of history and beauty. It is a working monastery, they make a great selection of liquors, creams and honey. If you arrive at the right time you can get a tour by one of the monks.

As a location of tremendous art historical importance and beauty, the Certosa del Galluzzo deserves five stars, hands down. The paintings and sculptures by Pontormo, the Della Robbia, and Francesco da Sangallo are treasures of Renaissance culture and should be easily accessible to a broad...More
