PER VOGHERA E' " LA CHIESA DEI FRATI"

Nel centro di Voghera, vicino a Piazza Meardi, chiesa in stile romanico con Monastero. Prima dei monaci benedettini e infine i francescani. Impossibile non notare il campanile. Ci sono stato in occasione della "Festa del Fante".

Altra bella chiesa a voghera, merita la sosta personalmente, un bel complesso con campanile, molto antica....

La chiesa dei frati e dei monaci

In questa chiesa del 1153 in stile romanico con annesso monastero, si sono succeduti i monaci benedettini, poi i domenicani e infine i francescani.
Interno a una navata con sei archi acuti che dividono le 7 cappelle per lato della navata centrale.
La navata termina nell'arco trionfale affrescato nel 1941.
Nell'abside si può vedere l'immagine della Madonna con bambino.

Una visita veloce in questa chiesa, in quanto stavano per chiudere, sicuramente ritornerò per visitarla meglio, bella la facciata ma anche il suo interno.

Storica chiesa dei frati di Voghera, famosa per le prediche di padre Fabbretti. Una bella chiesa da visitare. In uscita si consiglia un passeggio in via Emilia, passando per piazza Meardi

A Voghera la chiamiamo la Chiesa dei Frati, è vicinissima a casa mia, al terrazzo vedo il campanile. Molto bella sia fuori che dentro, notevole anche l'organo.

"bassa, ma comunque imponente"

Questa chiesa, appena fuori dal centro città, si pone parallela al corso Rosselli e presenta una bella facciata in cotto visibile dall'omonima piccola piazza antistante ; l'interno è particolare e suggestivo perché formato da grandi archi a sesto acuto che compongono l'unica, grande navata ; molto ben affrescato il muro sopra l'altare con grande crocefisso appeso.

Antica chiesa di Voghera, pregevole esempio di Gotico lombardo, a ridosso del centro cittadino, merita una visita per ammirarne la facciata restaurata e il suo interno.
