Day trip from Milan: cave paintings in the enchanting Val Camonica

This tour will let you visit the oldest Italian archaeological park, the Naquane Park. This enchanting historical site enhances one of the most important rock complexes with prehistoric and protohistoric engravings of the Camonica Valley (104 large rocks). In 1979 it was the first Italian site on the Unesco list! You will spend about 2 hours and half with your private guide, wandering around. After this thrilling visit, you will move to Bienno. Medieval village and splendid example of a Roman settlement, every year Bienno is a tourist destination for thousands of people: walking through its alleys means taking a step back in time, savoring simple life away from the hustle and bustle of cities and reliving the atmosphere of ancient crafts. A stop for lunch is included during the day. ( at your own expense )

Highly recommended to spend part of your time to visit this and talk with Francesca, the lady working there. You can also buy some polenta flour.
