Myself, my wife and her brother and his girlfriend did the Kayaking into Stormsriver through the ocean.
Stan and Anzo were amazing from start to finish, adding humor and vibes to the whole experience. The introduction was fun and geared us up for the adventure.
The water is amazing and the river padel itself was out of this world. My wife said she felt like she was in a movie.
After a while you climb off the kayak and hop onto a tube that you ride up the calm river, soaking up the views.
Before heading back you get to do a fun cliff jump into the Pepsi looking water. Stan advised the water looks like Pepsi due to the Tannin from the local Fynbos.
Overall I would highly recommend doing this as part of an adventure with friends or loved ones. If you're lucky enough to get Stan and Anzo as your guides, you're sure to have an awesome experience.

Unforgettable Kayak Adventure with Julio and Siba!
Our kayak tour with Julio and Siba was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and ensured we were comfortable with the equipment and route. Their passion for the water, deep knowledge of the area, and fun, engaging personalities made the experience truly special.
The scenery was breathtaking, and we got to explore hidden spots we never would have found on our own. Julio and Siba shared fascinating insights about the local ecosystem and wildlife, making the trip not just an adventure but also an enriching experience. They were incredibly patient and encouraging, ensuring that both beginners and experienced kayakers had an equally fantastic time.
If you're looking for an adventure that combines excitement, beauty, and top-notch guides, this is it! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Julio and Siba, for making it unforgettable! Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend (2xwomen) are currently driving along the Garden Route. We spent a day in the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve and booked the kayak tour at 13:30 in addition to a hiking route.
The whole trip was very professional, organized and made us feel safe.
Our guides Lisa & Norman plus their 2 helpers Henry & a boy with an African name I couldn't remember did a great job. Not only did they get us all through the tour safely, but they also motivated, provided fun and were competent.
We also loved the fact that they took souvenir photos of us (with our own phones), so you could then just enjoy the view.
Thanks for the great tour - high recommendation!

It was an awesome experience. Unfortunately we couldn’t go through the river mouth due to the weather, but our guides (Norman and Reagan) were absolute legends and let us row halfway into the mouth just when we started.
I wish the place had someone take videos and pictures since our phones were in the waterproof baggies most of the time.
But other than that it was amazing. Stunning views and lots of fun!

My family of 3 had a great time on the kayak and lilo tour with Dwayne and Leesa. They were amazing guides and a great pair - Leesa was a great hype man, and Dwayne’s cliff-jumping skills and help providing extra paddling power for our group were epic. Together, they made sure our journey was both safe and energetically fun, even on a somewhat cold and overcast day. We left with big smiles, great photos, and a major trip highlight! I would strongly recommend the kayak and lilo tour to anyone looking for a unique vacation experience!

Loved the experience. I felt it was professionally run and that our guides Clinton and Rowan were excellent, informative and made us feel safe. It was fun.
Also, they did not rush us at all but clearly explained that once we were 'safe' the other side of the bridge, we should take our time to make our way down and enjoy. They were on hand to make sure all was ok and provide information.
The only thing is that as a foreigner, the entry to the National park to get to this activity is very expensive, which like us, all you are coming for is this activity makes it a significant amount. It would be great if you could have an agreement to combine costs as we came for this NOT the entrance to the park.

We enjoyed our day at the park so much. It started with the very friendly welcoming by the ladies at the front desk of Untouched Adventures. We pre-booked a kayak & lilo tour for 12 pm but arrived at 10:30 am, and they were so flexible and helpful to reschedule our tour to 11:00 am.
We had an amazing tour with guides Clinton and Stan. They gave us time to enjoy the hike, kayak and lilo tour at our own pace. No rush, just enjoy!
thank you very much guys!

As our first time doing this, we were a bit nervous as the day we had booked was very misty. Reagan and Julio were very great at setting us at ease and guiding us. This experience was a great way to spending the time exploring our country and to meet many foreigners. It’s well organised, easy to book for and all the thinking is done for you. Water shoes, and dry bags are included in the price along with a locker to keep all your belongings in. I preferred that we went at low tide as the ocean swells were moderate and easy to kayak through 💪🏼

This was our first experience kayaking out in such a large body of water, and as we know the sea is not quiet, it was quite scary. However due to the brilliant guide we had, by the name of Stan, we were made to feel comfortable and safe by him. He is a competent, experienced professional who ensured that we were comfortable the whole time we were there.

What an amazing experience, being totally immersed in nature. Our guides, Stan and Tuks, ensured we were safe every second of the way and were quite entertaining with Stan's humour and Tuks showing us how a real cliff jump is done! Go kayak and lilo coz YOLO 😀

Will you be running the 4 hour Adventure trip at Storms River on the 22nd or 23rd march?
Written February 12, 2025
We’re planning to fly into PLZ in October and not planning to rent a car. Are you aware of any tours (small group or private) that we can take to your location from PE?

Is there an age limit, Is it to difficult for an 80 year old to complete?
Written February 28, 2021
Do you have towels available for after the trip? Also, we will have our luggage with us. Is there a safe place to stow luggage/valuables? Thank you.
Written February 18, 2020
Hi, you can bring your own towel, last time I was there they didn't have.
There are locking cabinets where you can store your belongings and you are given a waterproof bag that you can store valuables that you want to take with e.g phones or camera.

Hi, during winter (august), what is the temperature of water ? is it not too cold ?
Michael
Written July 13, 2019
Hi, the ocean temperature is very dependable on the wind direction and it averages between 14c and 18c. River is colder but I will advise wetsuits and booties that will keep you warm (availible st the shop) keep in mind most of the trip you are on top of a kayak or lilo only if you do jumps will you be in the water.
