Luxsa spa is clean, lovely decor and the therapist was one of the best I’ve ever had. Would return to Hansar just to visit the spa!

Overrated, expensive and not good enough

Been there yesterday..
The place is quite amazing though the treatment was not that great and way too expensive.
I've had a massage at different places across the islands which were far cheaper and far better..
Do not recommend..

Pain be gone! There's a reason why this massage has most of the reviews on TRIP.AD. I decided to follow the crowd and I'm glad I did. I scheduled an appointment the day of, just a couple of hours before on a Saturday and they were able to accommodate me. I've had Thai massages before but I'd say this ranks as the best I've received. Why? My masseuse really sassed out the knots, that's why. She didn't just half-ass the massage once she found them. She quickly kneaded them gone. Did it hurt? At times. That comes with Thai massages. They're known to hurt. So I suck it up and tell myself the pain is temporary. That made the massage less relaxing. For the most part it was good and towards the end I was able to fall asleep. I would definitely get a massage again. We were offered tea beforehand and everyone was so friendly. I really like it here.

I’ve been to Luxsa Spa quite a number of times over the past year and I am never disappointed. This is one of the best if not the best spa on the island. Everyone who works there is super friendly.

It was such an amazing and relaxing experience. Khun Jern and her team at the Luxspa create a memorable experience. She is a really warm and genuine person. Really cares about providing a positive experience to myself as well as my friends who came on the trip. I cannot wait to go back to visit again. Will definitely pay her and her amazing spa a visit. 👍👍❤️

Overrated non luxury establishment-saves your money elsewhere

Check in at Hansar after 2pm, too early arrival and too tired to go out hence tried their massage. Therapist was quite alright with lower body massage yet didn’t focus too much on neck & shoulder tension, despite knowing Ive just arrived. Worse, broke a favourite necklace of mine, didn’t let me know until I found out at the later part of the therapy. Included in my ‘package ‘ was a so called floral foot scrub which was also done simply. All in all, it lacked the ‘luxury’ feel of an up class establishment , nor are the therapists skills. For the 3500 baht paid, could hv visited a few at Fishermen Villages(Sakura being one I had visited and highly recommend)which gives you better views, ambiance and therapists.

Classy spa and quiet

Currently staying at the Hansar, naturally we wanted to try Luxsa. Very reasonable as the hotel gave us the equivalent of 42% off in vouchers when we deposited a certain amount.

We’ve had the three day package spread over 5 days. Total of 6.25 hours! Steam room, bath, scrub, facial, massages, pedicure, manicure. So very nice and professional. The girls are very well trained. Just that big extra care one expects from a high end spa.

Lovely ladies and I highly recommend it. For Aussies it works out to $45 hour each.

We go to a fisherman’s village spa in comparison is about $23 -$30 AUD per hour but not as professional and Luxor course.

Best Massage Ever

This is my first time getting a Thai massage and I think it’s the best in the world. Their Kiekie is a true expert, she is so skillful and she helped me solved many of my long term body problems. I have the massage every day of my stay. The herbal tea they served was very good as soothing. Will definitely come back again for the massage.
