Everything typical of Madeira

Nice spot for spending 2-3 hours. About 20 things to visit spanning handicrafts, nature, science. Playgrounds and boats. Not really for very small children.

There is so much to see at Madeira that stopping here even for 10 minutes shall be considered a total waste of time. All the city of Santana with its so called "traditional roots" is one big misery. Compared to other open-air museums (or thematic parks as they call it), this one is not even estethicly designed well - which... More

Described as a family attraction first impressions are all about things to do with children, but whilst the train and boating lake looked fun, as adults we found the Island of the World exhibition excellent. It provides over an hour of information on the history and culture of Madeira so if you want to learn about the island you'll find... More

This is quite a small park for a theme park but it is very beautiful. There are lovely, well tended gardens and a large playpark area for children with a variety of different apparatus. There are around 5 or 6 small museums dotted around the park telling you of Madeiran life - due to being there with a toddler we... More

Great little park with lots of interesting things to see and do. Good for children with great adventure playground, boats and a train. Good for a few hours out, worth the trip.

A lovely, quaint little park in the north of Madeira, about 40 mins from Funchal. Not a theme park like in the uk, more of an outdoor, interactive museum about Madeira. Only €6 per adult and we were there all day with a toddler - enjoyed the little train, the boating lake, the remote controlled boats and the huge playground... More

Worth visiting if you are nearby. A small park with some run-down attractions. Friendly staff. Average food.

A visit to the theme park is not a must. It is a cozy park where you can experience Madeira's culture, history and more. It is only possible to try "rides" once. And the rides are very quiet and tranquil. It is possible to see the workshops, take the train through the park. We visited the park on a dull... More

Great place to spend a day, As a theme park, they don't charge as such. Quite cheap actually. Me, my gf and my mum had a very pleasant day. Everyone should go, locales and tourists.
