CMTours took us to Quinta do Tedo which is located at the confluence of the Douro and Tedo Rivers. Our tour was led by Vera. The view of the rivers was spectacular. We saw their stainless steel processing vats and steel storage tanks. They also have wine aging in large oak barrels. They are an eco-friendly vineyard.

The visit of the Winehouse was very interesting. A friendly guide told us all about the history of the Winehouse and the way they make their wines and Porto. The tasting afterwards was lovely, and we bought a bottle of Porto to take with us during the rest of our holiday through Portugal. You can also make a 1 hour walk on the domain and alongside the Douro. Worth the visit!

Obrigada! We finished tge 55 m deep cave in 2018 and it is unique to Douro Valley! We had run out of room for barrel aging! We welcome the wine tourist to walk the vineyards - the Tedo ecological reserve is inviting. So happy you enjoyed your time and awaiting your next visit. Best, Kay Bouchard

Stopped in for a tasting only (no tour) and they were about to take on a huge bus group. The host apologized to us and offered us a quick, free and delicious tasting with a quick overview - both of which we were seeking. The Porto and the Rose were both exceptional and we made a purchase. Great attitude, serve and presence. We would highly recommend the stop for the ambiance and the wines.

A fantastic little gem located on the slope down to the river. The place's French/American owners are very passionate about the place and what they do. We got a super tour, where they really went into detail. The place has a super cozy restaurant with world-class quality food. There are 4 rooms on site, so worth getting out in good time,

Tour guided by Mrs. Vera, who was very kind, attentive and transmitted the information to us clearly and objectively. After the visit we had a special tasting, where we tasted both DOC wines and port wines of excellent quality and flavor, all locally produced. And to top it off, we ordered a cheese board, which was delicious and very thoughtful! We definitely recommend visiting and will be back soon!

Our friendly guide at this small family winery provided many details about Port production. The tasting after the tour was fantastic. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning. They also have a restaurant and rooms, but we visited as part of our Douro Tour with EcoTours.

They tasting was ok. If you're on your own, I'd go to a place where the big tourist buses don't go. The cheese plate was very expensive, but huge.

On our way to Porto we did a quick stop for wine and cheese tasting. Wonderful views and very nice explanations of the wine that was being offered.

We typically travel to different parts of the world and explore local wineries. This one is a top rate destination. A lot of quintas in the area have weird rules about tastings, require reservations, or will turn you away. Not this place, absolutely superior when it comes or customer services. The drive up the mountain was easy with plenty of room for cars in both directions. They offer bespoke tastings that range from 10-22€ and the wines (mostly sweet ports) are excellent. We were given crackers, dip, and olive oil to try as well. The tasting room is tastefully decorated and the views are breath taking. They absolutely offered a warm, inviting place to take in the local flavors. If you enjoy sweet wine, or just tasting a taste of the local terroir, this place is a must stop. Highly recommend!
