Long narrow stretch of beach which is a mix of sand and shingle. Lovely warm clear water. Many restaurants and bars line the stretch of beach.

Beautiful stretch of beach and plenty of it. Lots of different bars and restaurants. The sea was lovely and warm and very clear lots of little fish swimming around. There were some free sunbeds and some payable sunbeds depends where abouts on the beach you wanted to be. Definitely recommend to visit this area. I went beginning of October 2022 and it was reasonably quiet which is what I wanted.

Narrow, stone mixed with some sand so if you have kids who want to build sandcastles then it's not great. Sunbeds are expensive and there is a lot of seaweed in the water so not great for snorkeling. It's narrow and close to bars and restaurants so if you want to sunbathe, eat and drink, and have a dip to cool down then it's ideal.

Quite narrow with areas of sand and pebbles. Gentle sloping shore and shallow. There are numerous bars and tavernas lining the beach and sun beds to hire.

It was one of the best places I have ever visited. I suggest this place for the people who likes natural nature. My family spend one week in Corfu. We rented a car and explored practically all the island. Local people were very friendly and helpful. I would like to suggest one day excursion by boat to Blue Laguna and the continental part of Greece and have unforgetful experiece. The small port is very close from Moraitika.

We first visited Moraitika in 1988. A resort that was buzzing with tavernas, cocktails bars and small disco bars.
To reminisce we decided to return 30 yrs later with our teenage kids. Whilst not expecting kavos or Benidorm we did expect a little holiday spirit.
We stayed at the Delfina hotel which was lovely. We loved the beach by day vibrant.
However the village of Moraitika offered little in the evening. Tavernas were empty and the few bars were empty. This was like a seaside town closed for winter.
Whilst the beach was packed in the day where did everyone disappear to in the evening?
We ended up spending our evening in near by messinghi.
Which was opposite to what Tui reports would suggest.
Speaking with Moraitika bar owners, taverna owners and cab drivers they suggest that cheap rooms on offer attract Eastern European who do not go out and spend money of an evening. And big hotels offering all inclusive.
What a shame for this town.
We went back to recapture some youth and give the kids a view of low key but lively atmosphere. We found a resort on its knees.
The crocodile club which was a late 80s classic bar is now a derilict wreck. This just typical of this tired out resort.
The local authorities and tour operators need to get there heads together to give hope back to this potentially lovely place.
If all you want is all inclusive or a lovely beach then this place is for you. If you want that plus a bar and restaurant to share with other customers forget it.
Shame

Child friendly shallow waters. Sun beds and umbrellas are 2euros each per day . The beds are only three rows deep . Clear Ionian Sea is generally warm and non tidal . There is a new addition to the horizon...
A water activity park for children and adults , life jackets are a MUST for H & S . 10 Euro per person for the day .
