- Emine S5 contributionsGot to be done.Great beach to chill out at. A little bit stoney but lots of sand too and the water is beautiful. Sun-beds are reasonable at €10 with the umbrella. We hired a car while we were here and the drive down to the beach has an amazing. We also hired a boat for a couple of hours from Dreams. Brilliant!’Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 20, 2024
- jusaja2017Helsinki, Finland26 contributions10 Eur for 2 sunbeds and parasolMostly sandy beach, some rocks. Parking can be difficult if you arrive later. A tip is to use sunbeds and parasol provided beach restaurants - 10 Eur for 2 beds and umbrella. Taverna Maria provides excellent Greek food.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 30, 2024
- Kirsten B1 contributionVery nice beach.Very nice sandy beach where many locals are. Two nice beach beds and umbrella together for only 10 euros. Walking to the beach is really inadvisable as you have to walk on a busy, winding track. Many nice restaurants with nice prices. You can only park along the boulevard which is really a drama. Not accessible by public transport.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 3, 2024
- Saxgirl82 contributionsLovely family beachBeach is in an amazing location down a winding road with backdrop of a ruined castle and cliffs, a long beach along a seafront of shops, apartments and cafes, with loads of sunbeds some owned by restaurants. Parking is tricky, it was busy early afternoon but we managed to grab a spot on the seafront. We got a cabana (€30) which was a luxury and incredibly comfortable, straight into the sea. Great snorkelling around the many rocks just off the beach, lots of fish. Showers and changing hut. Very relaxing day.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 15, 2024
- 524raffaellabSalsomaggiore Terme, Italy4 contributionsFeatureCrystal clear sea (although on the day we went a bit of dirt happened but with the current it immediately went away and people who had been there for days told us that it was the first time it happened). The beach is mixed sand and pebbles but with comfortable sunbeds (for 10€) in almost all the beach. Beautiful atmosphere, possibility to stay on the beach even after dark because illuminated by the bars and taverns on the street. Beautiful also the landscape x get there, chance to meet goats. If you are on this beach we recommend going to eat at the "taverna Maria", excellent Greek cuisine.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 16, 2024
- Giulia P218 contributionsAmong my favorites!Beautiful sandy and pebble beach (no shoes needed) with some rocks in the middle for snorkelers. Not crowded and with many beach bars behind. We have always opted for Mylos, the best from our point of view. Cost of umbrella (and two sunbeds) 20 euros. Lastly, perfect for renting pedal boats and visiting the Grande Blu and the caves of ArchangelosVisited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 17, 2024
- tony b5,239 contributionsAMAZINGVery particular beach, not crowded with crystal clear sea. Sand and pebbles , the latter do not cause any discomfort . Beautiful landscape. Reasonable prices of umbrellas and possibility to have lunch on site enjoying good and characteristic cuisine! To see!Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten August 23, 2024
- ciakalDublin, Ireland60 contributionsEverything great except finding a parking spaceVery nice beach with clear and clean water. Best beach we have seen on the island. Sunbeds and parasols are cheap, lots of things to do and eat although more expensive than some other beaches. Does not have any inflated fun for young kids so less noise. Great for a full day out. Parking free but hard to find.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 24, 2024
- Sara P79 contributionsThe perfect dayWe took an umbrella and two sunbeds for 10€ in the lido of Manolis. He a really nice person, who allowed us to book the place at the beach. Crystal clear sea, lido not too crowded, we spent two days relaxing. Presence of many restaurants in the area where you can have lunch.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 29, 2024
- Maria L6 contributionsbeautifulIf you go to Stenga do not stop at the beach that is beautiful but as there are many in Rhodes but take a walk to the right of the beach and go to Jacuzzi beach is a paradise!! or by car you reach the Grand Blue beach there is a long staircase down but it will be worth it. This beach is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers.Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten September 3, 2024

Stegna is the ideal area for those looking for a slightly more authentic Greece, who don't have too many demands and don't like luxury establishments.
Here there are equipped beaches but nothing sophisticated, normal umbrellas and sunbeds at super affordable prices, the same goes for the places to eat near the seaside beaches.
The people who work are very sociable and friendly (unlike other areas visited where although they were not rude, the locals always kept a certain distance)
Crystal clear water and sand mixed with small pebbles.
Super super recommended

There are 2 beaches here separated by a small harbour. There are sunbeds & brollies which you can hire (we didn't as we were trying all the beaches so didn't stay long) plus you can hire boats from a cafe called Yamas", which also serves fantastic, reasonably priced food.
There is plenty of parking & places to eat as well as a small supermarket.
This is a lovely beach in a beautiful location, which I refer to as my "Shirley Valentine" place, and is well worth a visit!!

What a beautiful bay this is. Lots going on, lovely restaurants and bars but not overly busy
2 sunbeds and an umbrella is only €10 which is an absolute bargain, can be up to €40 in nearby beaches
100% recommend you visit whilst on Rhodes

We looked at the reviews of different beaches in Rhodes and decided on Stegna beach. The sea was very nice and clean and To Kyma beach restaurant where we had lunch was excellent. The sunbeds are generally 10€ for 2 and an umbrella. Parking may be a problem but there is a large area ay the entrance where we parked and walked to the restaurant.

Beautiful relaxing and familiar beach. Equipped but not exploited. Sunbed and umbrella at 10 euros, with shower and cabin for change and numerous bars provided, where you eat with another 10 euros each. We had a really good time and went back. The sea is nice and clean. Italian bathers could come here to do an internship on how to treat customers: welcome, not plucking!

Stegna beach is actually two beaches. The largest is mainly sand. At the far end is a section of sun beds crammed together for the All Inclusive hotel. The rest of the beach has sections of nicely spaced sun beds linked to the taverns behind. We paid €10 for a pair and had a bottle of water and free water melon. The sea was clear, warm and calm. The smaller beach is quieter and is a mixture of sand and shingle with more pebbles in the water. However this meant the snorkling was great and was my favourite beach. Sun beds were €8 and it was a very quiet chilled beach. Beach shoes are recommended.

We visited this beach in the last days of our holiday, and I must say that it is one of the best, suitable for families. We did not stop in front of the Gregoris tavern, we sat down on the sunbeds, we ordered some drinks, we paid at the end of the day when we went. away, honestly one of the cheapest umbrella and two sunbeds 10e. 2 mojitos, a water and a non-alcoholic 12e... clean and crystalline sea, Renella beach and pebbles in the water, given the little passage of boats.
We went there two days in a row.

We went in September 2022 and it was lovely and quiet. Good for families and couples. The sea was beautifully clear and the beach was clean. The sunbeds were 10 euros for two beds, a chair and an umbrella. A bargain in comparison to Lindos beach charging 25 euros! Plenty of taverna's and small supermarkets. Highly recommed.

Especially during June and July the beach is peaceful but after that more crowded with tourists and local sea/beach entrepreneurs, of course. There are sand and small stones, some rocks as well but the water is clear and the sea swimmable. There were many snorkelers as well.

Is's a shame, that there it is possible to rent boats without lisence. At the beach there are lots boats, every 20 Minute someone move away or leave. There is no more silence and it is dangerous for kids to swim I cannot understand, why the greek goverment accept that. It is a nice beach and not a habour.

We are going to Stegna second week of June. Our flight is landing around 11pm. Does anyone know if there will be anywhere open to purchase water and maybe a bottle or wine or 2 on the way to Stegna from the airport or in Stegna itself. Many thanks
Written March 26, 2018
I would buy at duty free shops from departing airport. Only places open in Stegna at that time will be Jacks bar and Jazz bar (both on the front)
You will get shops open in Falaraki on the way at that time but fi you are on transfer transport in may not stop there.

Hi Anita there are a few steps down to the beach from the main road, the beach is a little uneven but the sea is very shallow and this goes a good way out, then it goes a little deeper. It's great for swimming. Very relaxing quiet beach. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Do you mean by rented boat? (Because there is "regular" boat trips)
You can rent a boat at the far right side, the last kiosk at the left side of toad.
You can then go to all the small beaches around, accessible only by boat (ex kokini ammos).
