This is one of the things on La Palma that is easy accessible and quite nice to see. Not overtuiging worked in the center (monitors, flight experience) but verbal it gave a nice insight on how volcano's work. The real volcano is nearby.

A good walk round the top of a volcanic place. Well worth a visit. Take a taxi or local bus. Sturdy shoes recommended

Nice gentle walk around the rim of the crater, with amazing views of Teneguia Vocano and the Atlantic! There is a 5 Euro entrance fee, well worth it!

This is the most recent volcano - erupted in 1971. The visitors centre has stunning video of the event. Vertigo suffered will manage the pathway. If I can do it, I reckon others can. Good handrails. Worth the visit to see the harsh landscape up close.

If you want to walk around a crater this island is full of them. It was windy when we visited so despite our €10 outlay we were not allowed to walk around the rim. Cafe is ok but not brilliant. There are better ways to spend time on this beautiful isand.

If you want to get to the top of a volcano without much effort this is the one. The top isn't that much higher than the entrance to the visitor centre. The big drop is on the other side. The top is only accessible though the visitor center were there is a EUR5 per person charge.

Extremely interesting to see inside the crater and watch fresh growth take root there. Winds blow you off your socks and the views in any direction are absolutely stunning.

At least there are facilities her so you can get a drink and go to the toilet! (Unlike Roque de los Muchachos). It's a short but easy and pleasant walk around the caldera with great views of the salt pans and the land created during the last eruptions.
