The live interaction is displayed in the form of a thirty minute show with the trainers/keepers performing dramatic presentations of a range of these magnificent birds soaring, swooping and literally brushing the heads of the audience. This was excellent and not worth missing. Note the...More

We were shocked! The place is really abusive to the animals, the birds are tied with a rope about half a meter without the ability to move or aviation, this is the exploitation of helpless animals. That’s not what we’ve expected from this place, left...More

If you like owls and eagles, THIS is the place for you. Experience birds of prey as never before. La volerie des aigles is more than a bird show, it teaches you about the species, supports conservation efforts and keeps some of these amazing species...More

They have a lot of different birds of prey that they are training and performing with in daily shows. Optimally I would have liked for the birds to have a little more space/freedom of movement when they were not out flying, but the birds seemed...More

I would have never gone there if someone had not organised it. I really enjoyed the experience , they had a large variety of birds. Very nice staff.

Nice place, great for a little trip out and something different. Great location in the woods and next to a castle/ruins. Lots of birds of prey, a great show and interactive too. Great views. Only negative point would be it's a little small, once you've...More

Visit includes entry into the castle (Kintzheim) and opportunity to see all of your favourite birds of prey up close. The highlights are of course the free flight demonstrations that take place throughout the day (check website for latest timings). The flight demos are approx....More

You'll have to walk a bit to the old castle (additional signs to tell you the right way will be helpful) but then you'll have a great opportunity to see these majestic birds very closely. The show itself justify the visit. As a resume, a...More

We were a few minutes late for the beginning of the exhibition flights but still had a great time. Handlers were knowledgeable and informative and they flew a wide variety of raptors for a good half an hour or so.
