The best thing of Cres Island is the hidden beaches. Mali Bok beach is one of them. Although it is quite challenging to reach the beach, but it is really worth the effort. The beach is located below the cliff near Orlec village and the car parking is above the cliff. It is free. From the village, we still head to the beach, the road was quite small. To go to the beach was easy but to go back to the car was super tiring. The walk-path was super steep and long, at least we walked for 20 minutes to the car. Make sure to wear shoes if you go there. Bring water and food. The beach itself was amazing. The water color was crystal blue. Although the water was cold when we were there (the end of August) but we still swam. There was no shade, so beware with the sunburnt. We spent on the beach in the afternoon so it was not that hot. We enjoyed our time there.

Walk of some 15-20 minutes, what is specially hard when going back, but worthy, extremely clear sea, a bit cold. The beach is covered with fine to medium gravel. dogs are allowed, although nowhere does it say permission or prohibition, when we came there were three dogs and nobody objected

You can only reach it by walk: around 500m walking from the parking place. When we visited it was very crowded. The water was nice but as there are rocks all around there is really little space for sun taking. The altitude difference is around 130m in 500m walk fro the beach back to parking place.
