My favorite kind of museum. Not overwhelming in scale with some absolute gems. We were guided by a charming art historian (Valeria) who much enhanced our time there. Lovely works, primarily Italian Renaissance.

The museum's collection is very rich and varied: it ranges from 1400 to 1900.
Noteworthy are the works housed in the rooms dedicated to Piedmontese Renaissance painters.

On the ground floor Lanino, Ferrari, Giovenone alone require an in-depth visit. If I'm less interested in the Flemish painting on the first floor (but it's just a matter of personal taste) you have to pay attention to the second floor with valuable twentieth-century works

Disturbing visit, they sent us bloodhounds who followed us like shadows,
terrible experience, I have visited museums across half of Europe, I have never been treated with such rudeness, it is not possible to leave a review on the site, if you like education don't go there, they don't know what it is

The museum is certainly worth a visit because it is very rich in works of art ranging from the Middle Ages to modern art.
The only big flaw is that since it is forbidden to take photographs (and I don't see the reason for this if you have the foresight NOT to use the flash), they have filled the rooms with kids who act as guards and who literally act as guards, constantly attacked, almost as if they were controlling criminals rather than tourists: very, very unpleasant. I have visited many museums in Italy and abroad, large and small, and I have never had the feeling of being hounded all the time like I do here. Sin.
