Built in 1304 by Corradino Malaspina, this castle was designed to be a military stronghold.
In 1341 , the Viscounts of Milan bought the castle, then in 1436 they entrusted it to Dal Verme family who changed the stately building in a prestigious residence. In the 17th century, the Della Cella family bought the castle and owned it until 1956, when it became the property of the state.
Currently, it remains only a rectangular tower of the original castle.
Due to coronavirus I found it closed, I could only admire the exterior and the majestic of the tower

Mi spiace ma non ne ho idea anche perchè non essendoci nessuno in cassa ce ne siamo andati praticamente subito. Stabilito che per gli esterni non ci sono sicuramente problemi, tieni comunque presente che la visita, a sensazione, sarebbe comunque molto breve da poter lasciare il vostro amico a quattro zampe in macchina (ormai è passato anche il caldo). ciao
