Lovely museum
Sep 2019 • Couples
First off the smell that hits you makes you feel hungry straight away has you enter to get your ticket via the shop. The museum itself is packed with all to do with gingerbread and the making of it. We went quite early in the morning and were lucky enough to get to see one section of the small production areas. And to have a taste of a lot of their gingerbread. If you love ginger then you can go mad purchasing in the shop. Very good museum.

Promising but disappointing...
Aug 2018 • Couples
We expected to experience a museum but we were just sent to a blue house alone by the shop assistant next door. Nice things were just thrown in a place.
WORST OF ALL??Nothing in English...Even the shop assistant kept using English and body language. There is a Greek saying roughly saying "Those who are not Greek are barbarians..."
So what do French people in 2018 say? Everyone should speak French?
Btw most Greeks are fluent English speakers...

quick visit before closing time
Jun 2018 • Couples

Just before closing time we drove past and decided to stop. What a nice little museum about gingerbread so glad we stopped! Just felt like a child in a candy store. Pity that the bakery was already closed so there was no baking demonstration. The museum is small but beautifully decorated and informative. Must see for families with children. Tour is kid friendly (30-45 min) and ends at the shop.

Clerk spoke no English, so did not find out about museum or what was there.

There was just one clerk on duty. She did not speak any English. So, I was unable to ask about the museum or anything else. So, all I saw was the shop/store. After looking around at what was for sale, found a small gingerbread man for 0.80 euro, which I tried. It tasted stale.

Interesting

Arrived at lunchtime to find it closed. Didn't really get to see much, but like the decor. Very cute for kids, but for adults, unless there is a true child within. Else don't think the older generation can appreciate..
