Actually really happy with this place. Good seating and ok selection of beers. Cheerful barmaid. Felt very safe here. Happy atmosphere. Glad to see barmaid stop people using their phone!

First visit yesterday 17 March and was not disappointed, lovely selection of real ales, ciders and gins served by a truly helpful staff member and all at very reasonable prices in a superb friendly atmosphere....definitely recommend a visit

Nice little micro pub friendly locals and very welcoming had a pint of rhubarb cider and also the mango cider both were delightful and very reasonably priced I would definitely recommend this place very clean well worth a visit if you like your ales and ciders

We have visited quite a few pubs in our time and we often play that game, you know the one where you win the lottery and open your own pub. You list what it really must have (a good selection of cask ales, friendly and informative staff ((in this case a landlady)), a buzzing atmosphere and some unusual but delicious drinks for those not drinking beer) in a perfect world. A more enjoyable pub we have seldom come across. If you love beer, enjoy being in a pub and are in the area, go to The Smugglers Alehouse. PS.
