This is a must do activity in the Cook Islands. Had so much fun with our hosts singing and musical abilities and they cooked a good bbq lunch too. We also had an experience of swimming with the fish which was amazing. The crystal clear waters and the sea is warm and so relaxing.

What a joy to spend 4 hours in the company of the fun loving, musically talented crew of Koka Lagoon Cruises. The water was so clear and the fish life abundant. The beautiful islands, surf crashing on the surrounding reef made for idyllic scenic views. The barbecued fish and lunchtime entertainment priceless😎

Spoke to a couple of people who recomended Koka and it sounded like a fun day, believe me it was. We left the base at Muri beach at 10AM with 2 boats full of tourists. The team all have Captains names like Captain Morgen etc, we recomended them to use the Captain Obvious monicker from Hotels.com. They got us interacting with one another as well as entertaining us with a array of songs, some so old l'd forgotten them. They go to a part of the reef were the water is about 10 to 15 feet deep and there are platforms anchored to the ocean bed where you can rest in between swimming. Saw a few fish and a clam that was open which was fasinating. The glass bottom boat is split into two sections for viewing when they feed the fish, they send a captain underneath with bait and the people on the boat can see the frenzy through the glass. The guy however went to the section at the back of the boat and when the people at the front section waited to see it they were told that the diver had given all the bait away to the back section and we would'nt be seeing any feeding. We were disapointed but that was the only negative thing about the trip. Spent about three quarters of an hour in the water before heading back. Tha captain slowed down twice on the way back for us to watch Turtles swimming by, Bonus. At the Moto they prepared lunch of yellow fin tuna, variety of bbq sausages, rice, salad , fresh fruit and bbq bananas, a true feast. Other people have writen about the show and it is truly entertaining, these guy's are good at their job. Did this on our last week on Raro, if we had done it earlier on our vacation we would have considered doing it again. meitaki ma'ata captains.

This far exceeded our expectations. In addition to the glass bottom boat experience and the snorkelling there was ongoing entertainment - music and singing, sarong tying, all about coconuts including picking one - and much joking and laughter from the crew. The BBQ lunch was delicious too and food was plentiful. We were impressed by how hard the crew worked throughout all the time smiling, helpful and joyful. Do support them!
