We visited on 30 March- right at the end of the season, two days after a heavy snow fall. We had beautiful weather, a great view of Mt Fuji, lots of snow and basically a whole slope to ourselves in Chibikko Island. Some staff speak...More

Fujiten Snow Resort is not a bad place if you don't to make the long drive to Nagano and Niigata from Tokyo or within the Kanagawa prefecture. The slopes are great for beginners and has a place for kids to go sledding.

I Hadn't plan sking into this tokyo-kawaguchiko trip. It was a pleasant surprise and convenient to just add sking at the last minute. No powder snow but the slopes were good enough was a fun trip. Quite a crowd so close to the new year.

I went there last week. The snow level is still very low. Maybe another few weeks the snow will be excellent.. its pretty close to tokyo. 2 hours by bus. Not really crowded, perfect for 1-2 day ski trip.

this place is so overcrowded its almost unsafe. the snow is all man made so it isn't very nice. Take the trip to Nagano and Board on real snow at an actual resort, it is worth it
