If you are in the Kawaguchiko area then this is the place for sake Tour and tasting with a garden over 300 years old as well you get more than just sake tasting.

Learned a lot about Sake and were able to try three different kinds. We bought a few bottles to take home at a very reasonable price. The owners are modest about their English language skills but we understood everything they said. Great tour!!!

Got to taste 3 Sakes and a plum wine. Very informative hostess with good English, pretty good value. Lots of sake related items in the shop. Can be a little hard to find in the streets of Kawaguchiko but worth it.

I'd take a taxi (not too far, and you can try the sake) or walk. Maybe 20 min walk.
