If you are in the Sinquerim / Candolim area this fort is well worth a visit. From where the buses stop at Sinquerim, it's about a 2-3km (we walked, but there's quite a lot uphill).
Entry to the fort is free of charge.
The fort on the hillock is the Aguada fort with the freshwater spring. It has excellent views far into the ocean and inland. There is a moat , cut into the stone in some places.

Yes, but only if you are carrying a pram for your kids or if you are ready to walk a lot carrying your baby in arms :) See it is a fort where you have to walk a lot, climb the stairs etc, so taking very small kids won't... More
