Our kids 4 and 2 had no idea about Heidi. For us it was just a place to spend a couple of hours with them. We stayed 4 kilometers down the road at Das Almdorf. The manager there named this park as the nearest site to visit with kids.

It was just OK and definitely not worth 32 euros we paid for the party of 3 adults and 2 kids. 2 key attractions of the park are a plastic chute and goats. Unfortunately, they both did not combine easily with my younger son. First, he hit himself at the chute. Then while caressing a small goat that was walking freely among visitors he stumbled and leaned on the animal. It found it inappropriate and butted him. Fortunately, these both 2 cases were not serious.

All in all, if you stay in Das Almdorf or nearby, why not? But I would not travel specifically to visit this park.

Unless really interested in Heidi and friends, there is nothing particularly interesting in this park. Over 20 static figures depict the story of Heidi. For active kids, this is simply boring after a few figures. Especially as one isn't allowed to touch the figures while kids love to take pictures with their 'hero's'. Staff had a bad day as well. Overall not worth the petrol to drive uphill although the surrounding area is interesting for hikers.
