Visited both lower and upper falls. Walk to lower falls is easy, no climb. Higher falls tougher and not advisable for people with knee or leg problems! Our guide was very fast leading us to reach highest point in less than 40 minutes (lower to...More

We visited the lower falls this weekend, as we didn't have enough time to do the hike for the upper falls. It's a pretty easy 30-45 minute walk on flat ground, perfect for kids. You can also swim when you get there, which was a...More

Great day trip to the wili waterfall. There are two waterfalls you can go. The lower fall which is an easy 30 min walk almost every body can do it. To the upper waterfall it is tough 1.5 hours of climbing, but the scenery is...More

The hike to the falls is very short, but certainly worth it. The Wli Falls are the highest in all of Ghana, but they're just weak enough of that you can still walk underneath them. While you're there, take a look up and look at...More

This was by far the cleanest waterfall and surroundings in Ghana that we have visited. The path leading through the forest, was clean and beautiful with 9 bridges that cross a meandering stream. If I didn't know better, I would have thought we were in...More

Really no need for a guide, but young men will offer to guide you and claim it is required. I was with a Ghanaian friend who declined their offers. If you are not with a local, then negotiate a price and they will show you... More

Yes. There are few accommodation facilities near the Fall. If you don't want to stay in Wli, you could the check out the hotels and guesthouses in Hohoe, the bigger town which is about 20 mins drive from the Wli Township.
