I still remember this place like yesterday, the 45 minutes walk to the waterfall crossing 7 bridges. The place is amazing and I would absolutely love to visit again when I get the chance to. Absolutely worth your time.

Awesome place. About 50 mins walk under tree canopy crossing many small bridges into this amazing place. Very high water fall which is splashing and forming a mist. Also a rainbow will be on your photos. I really loved this serene attraction and will go there again and again. The hike to the water fall is easy and no special shoes... More

Absolutely worth seeing.! You pay 20 Ghanesian Sidi. Go after 3 pm. The heat is gone by that time! You will get a guide with you who will accompanie you during a 35/40 minutes hike along a nice trail to the waterfall. Wear sneakers, it's better than flip flops! A lot of red ants on our way! With closed shoes... More

I recently went to Wli in a group of 3 (2 female, 1 male) and we arranged a 2-days hike where we passed upper and lower falls and stayed in a Togolese village for the night. Our guide was the one recommended in the Ghana Bradt-guidebook (Francis), he seemed very nice the day before the tour and also the price... More

The Wli falls was right at the end of a massive 40+km hiking trek run by Bravehearts Expeditions (Which I recommend! Shout out to JJ and the team!) Our trip was stunning. Descending down the steep mountain jungle and into this staggering oasis was a real treat. We had been carrying heavy rucksacks and were so tired but when we... More

Visited both lower and upper falls. Walk to lower falls is easy, no climb. Higher falls tougher and not advisable for people with knee or leg problems! Our guide was very fast leading us to reach highest point in less than 40 minutes (lower to higher falls), quite an exercise!

After a long rough road, the falls and the surrounding mountains are a beautiful sight. One of the best locations in Ghana.

We visited the lower falls this weekend, as we didn't have enough time to do the hike for the upper falls. It's a pretty easy 30-45 minute walk on flat ground, perfect for kids. You can also swim when you get there, which was a nice treat after spending our day hiking Mount Afadjato. My only complaint is that you... More

My friend and I came up to Hohoe for the weekend to check out the falls and had a great hike. We did the upper and lower falls which was a really great workout so the post hike swim in the lower falls was a great payoff. We did the whole thing in about 4 hours. Our tour guide was... More
