Amazing golf views on Shetland
Jun 2021 • Couples
The most amazing 9 hole golf course. The views are amazing and it’s a fantastic course. They change the course so it varies depending on when you go. If you play golf it’s a must on Shetland

Asta Golf club visit

9 year old son played nine holes as a guest. Really well maintained course in lovely setting. Very manageable for beginners. On holiday so got everything we needed from the club house. Would recommend.

Traditional Scottish/Shetland Music
Jul 2017 • Solo
I was not there to play golf. I was invited by a musician to a informal gathering were a local group came together twice a month to play music in the club house. The night I was there there were some fourteen musicians and about as many guests. They played according, violin, various guitars and mandolin. The clubhouse had a small bar. Halfway through the evening they served tea and a variety of delicious cakes. You contributed by putting some money in a cup. I listen to great music and talked with some local people. It was a delightful evening. Later I drove by the golf course. It has, I was told, 9 holes. The landscape is beautiful and it is a privilege for anyone to play golf in such beautiful surroundings.
