Krishna's butter ball shows that there are still many things that science cannot explain. How is was created, how does it not fall... it's still a mystery.

An improbable rock that's a must for a pose! Yep, everyone has the same picture, pretending to hold it up. Still a must though.

Very exciting place with anatural wonder. Try to beat the rush by going early in the morning. Close to Shore temple. Use the same ticket to enter these premises.

Maybe it's not just the butterball that's worth viewing, it's also the tourists trying to take a photo of this eye-catching boulder with a selfie stick that caught my attention. After various unsatisfactory attempts nearly everyone ended up asking another passing tourist to take the required snapshot and all sorts of international contacts were made.

If you're into seeing random things off the beaten path, then this is for you. This huge rock is free standing and also a favorite shady spot for the local street dogs. If you're making a day trip from Chennai, stop by and see this.

This giant boulder appears to be frozen in its roll down the hill it sits perched on, and it is not clear why it does not continue the roll to the bottom. It is great for pictures and creating optical illusion snaps.

This is a gigantic granite boulder resting on a short slope. The boulder is approx. 6 metres high and 5 metres wide. It is estimated to weigh 250 tons. It appears to defy gravity. But beware the bothersome street traders that follow you everywhere trying to sell you goods.

Krishna butter ball is actually a big rock awkwardly positioned, the story says that this rock is a piece of butter that fell from Krishna while he was feasting on it.
