This temple is behind Mahabalipuram Bus Stand. So, after reaching Mahabalipuram, it can be the first place to visit. It is a nice Perumal Mandir. Some reconstruction work is going on near the bus stand side.

This temple is one of the famous and one among the 108 divya desams of Lord Perumal, who is seen in lying (commonly termed sleeping pose). Maintenance can be improved and cleanliness needs to be adhered well.

Higene levels are bad, The work is going on and hence expect some inconvenience. The Idol of the Lord is a delight to watch and seek the blessings. Highly humid inside, the A/C was not working near the sanctum santorum. worth the visit

One among the vaishnava divya desams and a "paadal petra sthalam". Perumal in sayana kolam. Direction of sayanam (sleeping posture) is reverse compared to srirangam perumal. Well decorated and well maintained. A must visit place for all vaishnavites.

Well maintained temple, but some construction work going on. not very patronising pandits which is good. currently seeking funds for building a new hall, left to each's choice to contribute / avoid. Gets busy as it is behind a main bus-stop.

A beautiful and intriguing temple, the locals make you feel welcome, respect their space and rules, be careful where you point your camera lens and be prepared to remove your shoes upon entrance.
