There are many more interesting sites in Mahabalipuram. We saw it from the car as we were driving to the 5 Rathas but did not go there.

it gives you what a lighthouse gives you, vertigo followed by lovely views! when you reach here, you might as well climb it and discover nothing!

Nothing special to die for.. But the view on top is amazing.. It's just like any other lighthouse built in the earlier days. Suggested visit only if u r there in the vicinity. Plz go only in the mornings or evenings.

Nice view of the city from this spot. Need to climb around 200+ steps to get a view of the city and Bay of Bengal ocean from top.

Long queue, need a lot of patience - why? - People. A lot of visitors to this attraction since it gives a breathtaking view of the shore on all sides. Delightful, except for the heavy rush. Spare an hour at the least, do not miss the views from the top.

Amazing view of the Bay of Bengal, lot of ships anchored, cool sea breeze. This was first visit to a lighthouse. It didn't disappoint. Awesome
