The Dwarkadheesh Temple, situated in Kankroli village, is among the most important temples of the Vaishnavas and the Vallabhacharya sect. The temple is similar in architecture to Shreeji ki Haveli and has a red stone idol of Dwarkadheesh Shri Krishna. This idol is believed to have been brought here from Mathura.

The temple is situated near the Navchauki Dam, also known as the Kankroli Dam, which is an ideal birdwatching spot.

This Temple of Dwarkadhish is in Village Kankroli, District Rajsamand, in Udaipur division of Rajsthan state. One who goes to visit Nathdwara for Darshan of Shrinathji, also visit this temple as it is about 20 kilometers from Nathdwara on NH-8 towards Ajmer.

It has been constructed on the banks of famous Lake Rasamand. The archtect and style of this temple resembles with the main dwarkadhish temple in Dwarika town in Gujrat State. You can take your car on the banks of the lake, and enter from lake side so that you can avoid walking in crowded markets. This temple is better managed and less crowded comparing to Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara.

Temple opens at 7AM, 8AM, 9AM, 10.30AM, 4.15PM, 5PM and 6PM for about half an hour each time, and you have to queue for darshans. VIP darshans can be arranged by local priests on payment. Camera, mobile phones, shoes and leather goods like belt etc are not permitted inside the temple. You have to deposit them in lockers outside. There is a shaded waiting area where devotees can sit and wait till opening of next darshans.

This temple is located at Kankroli, on the banks of the Rajsamand Lake in Rajasthan. It is about 15 km north of the Nathdwara temple on National Highway No.8.

The temple opens for darshan at fixed timings. We reached the temple at 11 am and had to wait till 11.30 am to be let in. In the meanwhile we walked to the ghat behind the temple overlooking Rajsamand Lake and fed the fish, of which there were many of various shapes and sizes. They would jump out of the water as soon as we dropped the grain into the lake.

This temple is not as crowded as the more famous Nathdwara temple, and there was no jostling and pushing as happens at Nathdwara. We got a good darshan of Shrinathji (Lord Krishna). We collected the prasad (holy food) and enjoyed the music being played by the temple band.

This is temple of Lord Krishna. The temple is also known as kankaroli temple. The temple is about 17 KM from Nathdwara. However the temple is in a small street so you have to walk on feet. The temple is always crowded and one has to wait till open the door of temple which opens and close regularly in all Krishna temple.Recommended to visit.

I and my wife visited gujarat during winter break of 2013, we were quite awed by the temple, its amazing architecture and its history. The only downer was that it was overcrowded - now that is a problem only when you have a train to catch (like we had to); but otherwise the crowd of devotees actually adds to the awesomeness of the place - Totally worth a visit

The dwarkadishji temple similar to the nathdwara temple is located almost 17 kms . from nathdwara at kandivli, rajsamand. The temple is near Rajsamand lake . After darshan you can go tothe lake shore to feed the fishes and ppigeons . Also try the garden 5 kms from the lake and have a top view of the lake along with a long walk.
