Wonderful Spa Experience!
Nov 2017
My sisters and I enjoyed a truly special and enjoyable group package at Colebrooke Spa last weekend. I was tentative about going along as I’ve been suffering with a back injury all year, and wanted to ensure that it would be safe for me, whilst not impeding my sisters’ Spa experience. I needn’t have worried as my Physiotherapist recommended having a massage, and I had a great discussion with Nadine the Manager beforehand. Nadine was really brilliant, professional, and put me at ease. From the moment we arrived at the Spa we were all really impressed with the ambiance and the politeness of the therapists encountered. We started with the outdoor hot tub which we all really enjoyed with a glass of bubbly- this was very soothing for my back which was very sore that morning. After this we all had a Full Body Hot Stone Massage, and the therapist Natasha treating me that day had a full discussion with me about my back issues and what would be safe for me. My sisters all commented how good their respective treatments were. We finished off our spa experience with a Festive High Tea in the relaxation suite- an additional charge but well worth it! It was so delicious. Some of us are picky eaters, and they were able to accommodate us with no issue when pre-booking this. This was something we all really appreciated. We all left Colebrooke Spa commenting how brilliant our experience was, and vowing to return sooner rather than later. We’re all hoping that our other halves will take notice of our hints of loving a voucher for Christmas! 🎄 I was especially appreciative of the care and attention given to me, as it was the first time I’d been able to attend something with my sisters all year due to my back pain.

Very relaxing morning made special by Bernie...
Jan 2019
Bernie was so lovely and friendly on the telephone when I explained what we wanted. She accommodated us off the menu which was fab. We also ordered a light lunch which was excellent. The only critisim have is that we could have done with a table a bit higher to eat our lunch, the coffee able was a bit low, otherwise fabulous.
The actual back and facial massage was completed with the right amount of pressure which made the xperience a pleasure. Will definitely be back on my next holiday.

Fantastic Massage and Facial
Nov 2017 • Solo
I have stayed in the cottages in this Estate a few times and had always promised myself that I would book a treatment in the Spa but never had. On this trip I finally got around to booking a couple of treatments. I booked a back massage and an anti ageing facial. I arrived at 9.45 am to be greeted by Bernie who showed me into the relaxation suit were there was a lovely wood burning stove glowing away, tea, coffee, Orange juice and fresh fruit. After my coffee Bernie brought me up to one of the treatment rooms. Bernie is lovely, she's really easy to talk to and she lets you lead the discussion. She started working on my back, I didn't know that my whole left side was just one big knot! She worked and worked away on my back, boy by the end I was feeling fabulous and more relaxed than I had felt in ages. Next came my facial. For an hour Bernie applied and massaged gorgeous Yon Ka products onto my face. She also massaged my arms and shoulders. It was fantastic, for 2 hours Bernie never stopped. Bernie is a fantastic therapist and does a great job. The next time I'm booking a stay in Colebrooke I'll be booking the Spa at the same time. Next time I'll bring my swimming costume cause there is also an outdoor hot tub and a sauna! This is a great spot, you'll not be disappointed.

Had a great relaxing afternoon in this old country house and courtyard .
Despite a problem with the hot tub not being at the usual temperature myself and my wife enjoyed the experience with the both of us having a full body hot stone message with therapists Samantha and Bernie. We hope to return with friends again in the summer.

Firstly I would like to say thank you to my therapist Michaela for making my visit such a fantastic one!! I was warmly greeted and offered refreshments then taken into a gorgeous treatment room for my hot stone massage which I thoroughly enjoyed and sorely needed .
I suffer with muscle problems and the hot stone treatment helped no end the whole atmosphere was just so wonderful and relaxing . I unfortunately didn't have time to use the hot tub and sauna due to my own commitments but it's situated beautifully in the court yard and is so peaceful.
The building the spa is located in is stunning and extremely clean warm and welcoming. I was served fresh fruit after my treatment and it was a wonderful touch.
Thank you for a great treatment and see you soon.
Would highly recommend!!!!!

Beatiful - but one or two minor tweaks required to make it perfect
Aug 2016 • Friends
I was here recently for a girls' morning relaxing.

The location is beautiful and extremely peaceful; the gardens as you go into the spa were exceptional - everything you expect from a landed estate by the Colebrooke River.

The spa itself is located in a beautiful courtyard, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Ours was a small party and everyone commented on how relaxing the Jacuzzi, sauna and daybeds were. Bernie the therapist was lovely, really friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The chilled perry, fresh orange juice and fruit were delicious, plentiful and thoroughly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, there were two downsides. Firstly, there was only one toilet and one shower available in our facilities, which is a bit tricky and slow when you have more two ladies all wanting to get showered and changed. Secondly, the Co-operative own-brand soap, shampoo and conditioner were very disappointing - I would have expected either Decleor or Yon-Ka toiletries in the spa's facilities, given that this is a Decleor and Yon-Ka spa. No shower gel either. However, there were slippers, flipflops, very soft, plush towels and robes for everyone in the group and a hairdryer, sectioning clip and two mirrors in the facilities.

Nevertheless the whole experience was so good and extremely relaxing. I would go back again.

Nevertheless the whole experience was so good and the relaxing room so comfortable that it was no hardship to wait until everyone was ready.

We were staying on colebrooke estate and decided to book in as a treat. Arrived and changed into our robes and was shown into relaxation area to fill in our forms. Lovely cosy room with fire going and drinks and fruit available to snack on. The girl who greeted us was very polite and helpful and kept us right. Was shown to use the outdoor hot tub and sauna for a hour before treatment and again the girl kept us right regarding times etc. We had booked in for the "spring glow" offer which included feet,Indian head and back massage. The girl asked about pressure and if it was too rough to let her know. But no it was amazing i was near ready for sleeping. Allowed to relax in the lounge again afterwards

Beautiful setting when you drive through the grounds. Staff were very polite and friendly and we were not rushed at all. I had a hot stone massage and mini facial - would definitely recommend it! Mince pies and mulled wine were a lovely surprise :-)

Very nice spa (except the relaxation room!)

We went to the Colebrooke Spa this weekend and had a lovely time. I've debated knocking one star off full marks, but I haven't as despite my one issue the spa still deserves full marks.

The drive to the house is absolutely stunning and I was really pleased. On arrival the girls had us fill in the forms and then they took us to be changed into robes and slippers to go to the relaxation room to wait our turn for our treatments.

This is where I debated pulling a point off the score. When we went into the relaxation room there were other people sitting round the fire chatting. 2 in robes and 2 in their coats and handbags. We were guided to loungers at the back of the room. This felt like we were sitting in bathrobes in someone's living room. A very odd feeling, as the other four ladies gossiped away. It was very odd and unlike any relaxation room I've ever been in before! I'm quite an anxious person and I did find it unsettling.

We were taken to the outdoor hot tub quite quickly and we had a giggle about what had just happened. The sauna and hot tub were great. We came back in to the relaxation room and again another group of ladies were sitting on the sofa around the fire and we were relegated to the loungers at the back of the room!

The tea/coffee was piping hot and the fruit was freshly served.

Our full body massages were absolutely lovely. The therapists were very nice indeed. All staff throughout the visit were very friendly and welcoming. The staff were laid back and this put me at ease. I felt very relaxed after the massage.

I'd go back there again and I'll be telling all of my friends about it. As I said, the relaxation room is a weird set up, and its strange to have people sitting in there with their scarves and coats on while you're in your robe, but in the grand scheme of things, this place is a fabulous little gem. Book it as a treat for your mum, sis or girlfriends.
