Very nice big temple where Ma Kaileshwari and Chamundeswari waits to bless all the devotees. Very traditional temple with traditional rituals and beauty. No money taken by any pujaris here. Had very nice darshan . She is Kul devi for many people around . So crowd is expected. But luckily we got very less crowd ahead as it was mid weekday evening . Must visit.

Had to come here, it was something I had in mind for so many years, and could finally make it. The temple has an interesting history best heard from the locals.

Believe or not but as the people says this temple is truly divine and a greatest blissful temple. this temple is all about two sisters of Maa Durga Avatar....One is maa Kela Devi (AKA Badi Mata) and other is Maa Chamunda (AKA Choti Mata)

We have visited Kaila Devi Temple which is at a distance of 25 km from the Karauli city iof Rajasthan. This is the shrine of Kaila Devi. This temple is on the banks of the Kalisil River in the hills of Trikut. The song and dance performances in the praise of deity are held at the courtyard. The temple of the Goddess attracts millions of pilgrims every year and the annual fair lasting a fortnight is the main attraction. One can see peacock dancing enroute and the route from Karauli to Kaila Devi temple is full of scenic beauty.Every year in the Chaitra Budi month of the Hindu calendar (March/April), devotees throng the temple with many offerings like cash, coconuts, kajal (kohl), tikki (vermillion), sweets, bangles etc.

Right in front of the Kaila Devi temple is another minor temple dedicated to Bhairon. Another interesting shrine right in the courtyard is that of Lord Hanuman, who is called Languriya and Languria songs are sung in his praise.

Visiting this temple since childhood. Brings back memories of old days and difficult terrain. Now the roads are good and Temple administration provides for accommodation for every budget. Town needs heavy cleaning facilities & systems in place. On highway do not argue on Radcot toll plazas, they are manned by goons. Do not buy return tickets, as they are valid till mid night only. (They will not tell you, this).

This is a very famous tourist place where tourists come from all across India. Luckily, there was no rush when we visited 3 days back. Photography not allowed inside the temple though one can have pictures from outside.
