A beautiful, divine experience!

Takes time to reach there, adding to your excitement, though testing your faith at times, if you arrive at the right time, time will fly! Usually infested with huge crowds, travel in off season to have a quick darshan without getting into long ques. January appears to be perfect time because this is the time I went there.

Visiting this temple since childhood. Brings back memories of old days and difficult terrain. Now the roads are good and Temple administration provides for accommodation for every budget. Town needs heavy cleaning facilities & systems in place. On highway do not argue on Radcot toll plazas, they are manned by goons. Do not buy return tickets, as they are valid till mid night only. (They will not tell you, this).

The temple is off city. 22 km approx on a small hill. Home of chamunda devi and kaila devi. Has a gold plated dome. Visitors are mostly devotees. Tourists are less. Large number visit during march april. Small lake is on the way from karauli city. The kaila devi sanctuary is still 30 km away from temple.visit this place in off season if u r not a religious person
