What a magnificent site. The six's and vastness of it will surprise you. The remaining colors as well as the museum are truly astounding. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Puebla area.

The place is big, well preserved. The pyramid is all under a big top so the sun and rain cannot damage the colors. The only problem is that the way to reach Cacaxtla has not enough signals. Better to carry your GPS

A must see for those interested in the archaeology and history of Mexico. This ruin was discovered in the 1970's when several brilliantly painted murals were discovered and carefully preserved. Admission to Xochitecatl pyramid is also included in the admission price.

Hi as with others we used a driver and guide which was very reasonably priced. This allowed us to see what we wanted with no time constraints of public transportation schedules. Enjoy your trip.
