First of all there are not so many hotels/guest house/homestay nearby beaches. Everything is very expensive, I would say...No Value for Money. Seafood is damn expensive in hotels though it is a fishing area and is supposed to be average charges rather than too expensive....More

The place is well connected from Mumbai by public transport. Roads are good. The beach has a good cemented beach fronts where you can sit n relax. There are changing cleaning room available. The beach is clean well suited for family fun.
