Its a very easy trek. You can reach here from Panvel station form there you get buses and Six-seaters. Overall expense for 5 person would be Rs.300/- per head. You will get eating options inside the entry point. If you are going in summer then carry lots of water.

If you are looking at doing a trek not too far from Bomday city, then this is th eplace to visit. you buy the ticket at the entrance and start the climb which took us around 1.5 hrs to reach the top. Start early morning as the crowds increase post 10am. Once at the top, the view is breath-taking and... More

I has always been place of interest to me, being a history lover, trekker and my native is a nearby village. I had been there number of times, as a child, as an adolescent, as a youth and as a family person. It always attract me. But for sure the fort requires at least average level of fitness and you... We made a nice little visit to Karnala Fort on a Saturday last week. It's so close to Navi Mumbai and yet so many centuries away in time. We had passed the sanctuary many times while visiting Pali Ganpati near Pen and this visit was many years overdue. Getting here is actually quite easy -- less than an hour by... More

I think I committed the biggest mistake by trekking here in the monsoon. To add to my ordeal, I went with a heavy backpack, slippery sandals, and an umbrella in hand. It was beautiful and green. But the rocks and surface become slippery in the rains. The view from the top is awesome. It takes approx 2 hrs to climb... More

An awesome place just one and half hour drive from Mumbai for all the trekking and nature lovers .. The fort is approx 2 hours trek from base .. Have to be very careful in rainy season as its slippery .. But awesome climate and greenery all around makes it a perfect spot for one day picnic..

The worst place to go for non trekkers! No water service and no saftey measures taken! And its likely to break soon since it has become weak bz of the rains and heavy air. Its very steep also. No doubt the view is good but i dnt find it worth it!
