Simon was very helpful in ensuring the hire of the bow rider sports boat was to our satisfaction. The boat was in good running order with a new Suzuki engine, sounder, Bluetooth sound system and all the required safety gear. We were keen to fish the Lake Macquarie area and the boat assisted us in fishing a large amount of ground in the 5 hour hire period. We caught a variety of species including flathead, flounder, tailor, long tom, bream and whiting; all on prawns and soft plastics. It was a great day on the water and I highly recommend.

We hired a boat for three hours and spent a glorious morning on lake macquarie. TULLY the staff member was FANTASTIC and so helpful - what a treasure! He briefed us on safety, routes, the boat and weather etc and we felt safe and prepared. Thank you. Highly recommend. thank you tully!

Every aspect was great, and easy to do. Only 2 areas that could be better, the boat really needs a ladder so you can get back in the boat with ease, and the bbq needed a clean, we had a lemon in hand so we made do.
In all, 5 of us had a gorgeous time putting around Cams Warf on Sunday. We had a bbq breakfast, a little fishing (yes we did catch one :) and went for a dip. Fun

Great experience and very well run, we had a corporate booking and due to bad weather needed changes to the time of the booking, Simon was more than flexible in assisting our group to make this work.
The experience itself was well run and rewarding with many from our group not having experienced a Jet Boat Thrill ride.

A brisk breeze causing some slightly choppy waters did not detract from a fantastic afternoon on Lake Macquarie. We hired a bbq boat and after a short safety brief and an idiots guide to boat operating we set out with pretty much a free reign of the lake. There is no toilet onboard so either jump in or find a jetty somewhere with public toilets. Even though it is hired as a bbq boat the bbq (Weber) is extra. They will clean up everything on return so no worries there. It is easy to get yourself lost so have an iPhone handy and mark your departure point. We had an awesome day and would definitely do it again.

It was a perfect day - sun was shining not a cloud in the sky , the water was glistening and calm. We had Simon as our driver he was awesome - cutting it close to the shoreline then ripping it out in the open water. He made sure everyone was safe and okay at all times and got the best out of our ride by giving us a cheeky spray of the salty ocean water which was refreshing in the hot sun. The overall experience was super fun and I would definitely do it again ! Thank you Lake Mac JetBuzz Watersports :)

The equipment is old, kayaks were missing all padding and the back supports, the paddles were missing or had half torn off rubber grips and the paint was chipped which made my hands so sore and blistered one hand.
You can only kayak in a small section of the lake along the coast line, took us 5-10 min to kayak from the dock to the end point he told us not to pass. We had 2 double kayaks with one adult and one child, we were not moving fast. We ended up swimming most of the time as there was no where to explore.
There wasn't even good customer service, when we had to get a life jacket he just stood there while we were looking for sizes, visibly struggling, I had to ask him to help twice.
We go kayaking as a family every summer, you can find much better equipment and locations than this.

Great service and friendly team, had a fun day! The speed Boat bow rider hire was good a few little things on the boat need repairing such as the latch and the folding windscreen and the bungy chord to hold the transom deck door. Otherwise we had a great day

Excellent day on the water. No experience necessary. Easy to drive. All kids received life jackets under 13 years of age. We hired an extra fishing rod for the arvo and paid an extra $10 for a bbq on board. Everyone on board had a great time.

We stayed at Rafferty’s resort, and hired kayaks and SUPs one day and went on a Jetboat ride the next.
It rained most of the time we were using the kayaks and SUPs however we still really enjoyed our time on the lake, we would have got wet without the rain!
The weather wasn’t the best come time for the Jetboat ride and so Simon offered alternatives. We really appreciated his focus on safety and wanting us to have the best experience and we had an awesome time once we got out there.
Our teen boys gave it a big thumbs up!

Is there a toilet on the 12 person boat for hire?

Hello, unfortunately it is out of order permanently due to misuse. We fixed it many times but it continues to fail. It is a shame but out of our control. We have a bathroom in our shop and most day hires usually make a pit stop half way through the day no matter which boat they are in.

Kids can go from 5 years old but we recommend from 6 for our ocean rides. Every kid is different, it's up to you if you think they are adventurous enough.
