Totally recommendable place for a visit in summertime, especially in the evening. Nice place to get in touch with locals and there are nice partys or live concerts. Very nice!

The castle, recently restored, is a must see in Salento. The walls are cleaned up, the whole has been adjusted to enhance the beauty and the inside are open for visits. This allow anyone, tourists and locals, to fully appreciate the castle and understand it's importance in the history of this area and do so in a fantastic town like Corigliano that has a lot to offer to any type of traveller.

We went to Corigliano for a visit during our week in the Salento and the castle is very impressive, they have done a great job in preserving it and opening it up for visitors. Lovely bar at the top with outdoor seating, not a great view though over the town.

The castle is quite impressive already at the entrance. It is open for free visits (the is a cafe).
Walls and stairs are very well mantained.
I would have espected some more attention to interiors and furniture.
Still, a must if you are in Salento and want a vacation beyond just sea and food.

If you are visiting in Summers - Otranto is a great place to visit. it has some good beaches and the Castle is a treat both in the day and at night

Because of my hotel was on the same street as the Castle, I saw it every day from the outside, which is quiet imposing to see. One afternoon I went there with friends from the Region and they gave me a bit a closer view of this historical building. Beeing inside the Castle, when not many people are around, you can almost feel the old times. And still today, the castle is a part of the live in the old town of Corigliano. It is hard to describe, just go there and feel it!

A must see castle situated next to the marina in Otranto. Although the day the castle is well kept, the views from the roof were not what one would expect. It would have been better had we visited the tower next to the castle, but due to time constraints we did not manage.

On a tour of Salerno we stopped in Otranto- what a lovely place !! The town is a maze of narrow streets, with shops and cafes, while the Cathedral houses the bones of the 813 martyrs in a glass case behind the altar. The castle and marina are also impressive.

So nice small city inside of the castle... Narrow streets full of shops n restaurants. Breathtaking. U shud go there!!!

Salve, in realtà la visita dura poco, non ho letto nulla riguardante gli orari, probabilmente perché era una giornata dedicata alla musica popolare per cui l ingresso era libero, per quanto riguarda la sua cagnolina non so darle risposta, le conviene chiamare prima di avviarsi, le auguro una felice vacanza.
