We booked this through Hoseasons and informed them we were travelling with a wheelchair. The lodge nor the location of the lodge were suitable for those with wheelchairs or mobility issues as the majority of the lodges were up a very steep hill from the reception and site facilities. There is no mobile signal for certain operators and the WiFi... More

Visited Kielder Water & Forest Park today. Weather was amazing which made the day all the more enjoyable. Beautiful waterside walks. Great for birdwatchers as you can see the Osprey nest through binoculars or on the screen which has live cameras. Loads of other birds to see too.best bit for me was seeing a red squirrel. Probably my most favourite... More

Absolutely lovely site to walk around and to photograph. Plenty to see and do. Even got the birds hand feeding..

An ideal location fairly central around the lake. Superb Osprey viewing area with a number of scopes setup. We also went in the centre and saw them on screen. Some lovely walks from here too. We headed south through the woods and come across a great hide for red squirrels and chaffinch.

Shop is good but pricy, view is lovely, parking is £3 an hour or £4:50 all day, get not working yet again this summer! Disappointed again, good walks around there and activities on, magic show was good on Tuesday and Friday in bar.

Went for 3 night break staying in superior lodge with hot tub. Lodge was very nice modern and clean. Ensuite needed a tiny bit of tlc but that is the only negative. Place surrounding lodge is beautiful. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Didn't eat in restaurant just a coffee but lovely place. No signal which is quite good too.

We stayed two nights in a motor home and loved it so much we went back for more. Went fishing on the lake, caught trout & barbecued trout, tasty! Enjoyed forest walks, especially spotting Osprey and red squirrels. Staff really friendly. Esp. Wayne!

Arrived with Pod our caravan just after midday. Had booked a woodland pitch so we were expecting to be surrounded by trees and peaceful and quiet. Not the case. We were assigned a pitch in an open area surrounded by people with young families. Nothing against kids. We've had them and all grown up, just not the environment we had... More
