10 of us hired bikes (ages 9 - 70) for half a day here. We got prompt, helpful and friendly advice from the staff here - on the bikes and the type of route to follow. I rate it as good value - we got 20 % discount as there were 10 of us - we just asked ! Whilst the weather could have been better we all had a good - if not exhausting - time cycling down the north side of Kielder Water. I will certainly think about returning here. The Dukes Pantry Cafe nearby serves reasonably priced food - we had lunch here to recover from the bike ride ! Kielder may be remote, but it is worth the effort to travel up to.

Skills courses advertised as available were not running, basic tools and parts (inner tubes, etc) were not available to buy. Staff fairly disinterested.
