An easy track to warm up your legs prior to more walk in the region.
I recommend to climb up by foot at least to enjoy the many waterfalls.
They organize some path to go close to the canyon, even in the middle of the river.

There are a few deep pools along the rapids. One is having a 12.5 meter ponds though was relative small for swimming. Nobody swam in October. Guess water was cold.

The hike was easy. Not necessary to take the cable car up as that would defeat the purpose of enjoying the walk and breathing the fresh air. Was there in December, thus less green and less water but nevertheless, the view was still awesome. Truly enjoyed the serenity as throughout the whole trip up and down hill, there were just the 3 of us.

On top of pursuit the fall foilage, skip stone in the Canyon is a very enjoyable excercise. There are so many small falls on the way up to the top. If you have time, take the trail up. It is a good excercise, better then taking the cable car up.

one of the unique part of the hike is the big boulders along the stream. one wonders how they come to be. there is a gondola that brings people up and down but it would set you back 100 RMB, which is completely off the point as the only enjoying part of getting up there is the hike. the round trip takes about 3 hours of easy hiking. highly recommended if you are one of the suckers that bought into the 210 RMB combination ticket, as this is one of the three places that would be even worth a visit. I have seen many much better hikes in Zhejiang that charges a fraction of the ticket price of this park.
