Lovely breakfast
Sep 2021 • Couples
A lovely cafe, very clean and very helpful staff.
The breakfast was very nice, toast was lovely and plenty of tea. We sat outside as it was a lovely morning and we had our dog with us, we could have sat in what was like a conservatory if we had wanted.
The toilets were also well kept and clean.

An Excellent meal and wonderful Ice Cream
Jul 2021
Great atmosphere and excellent food. Visited for lunch on a Sunday. Our party all had different dishes ranging from salads to roasts, and all were very good indeed. Their home-made ice cream is superb.

Poor Covid
Jul 2021 • Family
No enforcement of Covid restrictions. People wandering around without masks on and blocking the one way exit having moved some seats in to the exit walkway. Nobody challenged them or anyone else.

Takeaway Christmas meal
Dec 2020 • Friends
Due to Covid rules we were unable to dine as planned at the café but we decided on a takeaway. We had the Christmas menu and it was fantastic. So much food and perfectly cooked.

Beautiful views.

I’ve been wanting to visit for a while and persuaded my husband to try it. The ordering was very organised and felt safe. A bit of a queue for ordering but our food was hot and very good. Lots of animals for the kids to look at and a play centre. The Icecream looked good and there were plenty of people trying it. Great for families.

Excellent food.
Jul 2020
We stopped on passing for something to possible eat. The food was amazing, the chicken was lovely and moist and the fries were crisp and plentiful. The salad was really good, despite all of it being served in a cardboard box.

Fantastic even in lock down
Jun 2020 • Family
Attended yesterday for a 'lock down' treat - Well organised Queing system in place, 2 metres apart, 1 family in at a time, hand cleaning station on entry and card payments only. Chalk board advertising availability of flavours including daily specials! So plenty of time to choose and change mind again. Tried an banana and toffee milkshake for a change with was gorgeous - 15 yo went for her favourite mint choc chip and salted caramel 🤩
Thank you

Over £7 for a jacket potato. Rather steep I felt
Was a favourite spot of ours but no longer. Plenty of other places to go

Amusement for the Grandchildren!
Aug 2019
"Where to go with small grandchildren that is not the usual run of the mill playground?" The Rowdey Cow of course! It has ice creams, alpacas, goats and a playground. Both our granddaughter and grandson have been (on separate occasions) with my husband and sons when getting out of the house was a good idea!
A great success - thank you all at the Rowdey Cow.

Nice Burgers and Fabulous Ice Cream
Oct 2019
We took grandchildren for lunch after looking around all the different farm and exotic animals on show in the farmyards and barns. The burgers are tasty but the ice creams were out of this world! Definitely worth a visit.
