Helpful, friendly staff on hand but mostly enjoyed wandering admiring the formal gardens, the potager and the veggie garden - inspiring and amazingly weed free. The plant name tags were helpful and in good supply - it would have been good to have some of the common names too. Plenty of space to enjoy a picnic in beautiful surroundings. Keen... More

There's a beautiful and tranquil lily pond, woodland... More

We were impressed by the large collection of roses all labelled with their variety. Extensive walks through the various areas of the gardens. You can easily spend a whole day there.

As you would expect from an RHS garden this is a wonderful day out. Vast gardens, lots of different types of gardens, wonderful roses. A full day. Fortunately there is an excellent restaurant to provide coffee, cake and lunch. Just wish is was nearer to where we live!

We visited the rose gardens in early July. We had never been before and were bowled over by the stunning beauty and glory of the amazing and beautiful collection of roses and other plants there. The gardens are extensive, and we easily spent 6 hours there. We did not use the tearooms but later on wandered through the woodlands and... More
