Why go further when you have the Plough. We use The Plough about 4 times a month! We see music, films, comedians, and the art exhibitions. Ok the films are a bit delayed (4weeks) against seeing other places but it doesn't bother us. Also have seen films not shown in the big Cinemas which have been excellent . Surprisingly there are so... More

For our daughter's 5th birthday we wanted to do something different, so we asked The Plough if Alice and a group of her friends could take part in a drama story workshop. We had been before, and both our girls really enjoyed the sessions led by Richard, where the children listen to a story and then perform it. A mixture... More

Thank you for your kind review and we are happy your daughter enjoyed her birthday party at The Plough. Our story workshops are proving to be very popular and it is wonderful the children seem to enjoy participating and this does appear to increase their confidence. Richard enjoys it too! More

Nice enough for a drink. But they need to be more consistent with drinks. You cannot always get a nice coffee unless it's just a normal one you want.

Thank you for your review and your comments have been noted. I am sorry you found our coffee not consistent but if you came on a Sunday or Monday we have no cafe staff and it is down to Box Office staff to serve coffee which has to be just filter as they do not have the time to make... More

We were booked to see a show and thought it might be a good idea to take advantage of the pre-show meal. The restaurant is in the main foyer of the venue so by the time we were at desserts it was getting a little busy around us. The food was excellent value, fresh, tasty and well presented. The waiting... More

We were looking for a quick lunch in Torrington and really enjoyed our choice of dishes in the Plough café. Excellent coffee too. The Plough has a great evening programme of Arts and Entertainments, although that's not what we were there for this time.

I hadn't been to The Plough Arts Centre for years and had forgotten what a great venue it is- Vin is an old friend of ours and we found out about the concert via his mailing. He was great as ever and the venue was just perfect- intimate, warm and cosy - Now joined The Plough centre's mailing list -... More

Living locally i have always shied away from the plough as it always seemed a bit bourgeoisie but i decided to go with a friend and was agreeably surprised the cafe bar area is friendly and inviting and the theatre well laid out and intimate . The volunteer staff have taken ownership and are most helpfull in short a model... More
