La Cumbrecita is a small pedestrian town and has a beautiful small Chapel.
If you go to La Cumbrecita by car, you will need to pay for the parking ARS 190 / USD 5 and later start walking. The Chapel is around 20 mins away from the parking.

Taught it was a real rip-off to pay over $20 to park your car and be taken by a run down bus to the edge of this village were all streets are for pedestrian. To eat in any of their restaurants the prices are so inflated…Not a detour I would recommend.
Unless you have not visited Swiss or German alpine villages I would skip. Even then, after all you are not in Argentinia to see Europe. Perhaps a nice vacation village for Argentinians who will not be travelling to Europe. There they can enjoy some European flair, bathe in the sun, hike a bit and enjoy the waters…but for a visitor to Argentina not much interest.
