Great guys! They will do absolutely everything they can to adjust the tour to your needs and make you feel welcome. In my case I was most interested in taking photos and had worked out a schedule that would allow me to maximize the number of sunrises and sunsets at certain photo spots. They were very accomodating and never refused to get up at 4am with me to drive me. If you want adjustments to the day you arrive make sure to tell them in advance because otherwise they will only have the tents ready to go the next morning so your first night will be in a hotel in the capital.

Socotra Trek Tours organised in collaboration with Berlin-based Rocky Road Travel my private tour in Socotra between 26th April and 3rd May 2021. The tour was set up in a fast and efficient way. I had the unique chance to experience the local culture and nature. I would like to thank all people involved: Adnan Elnooby, owner of Socotra Trek Tours. Adnan Elamary, my knowledgeable highly educated tour guide. Yahia, my driver with the right skills to cope with bumpy rocky roads. Finally, special thanks to Shane Horan of Rocky Road Travel who arranged my private trip to Socotra in collaboration with Socotra Trek Tours. Thank you all for contributing to a memorable unique travelling experience, in particular during these difficult covid circumstances for travelling.

Excellent under all points of view. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate all my requests and needs from a day out fishing to an extra day on the Dixon plateau. Loved my guides, their attitude, and their professional and honest interactions. If an authentic adventure is what you are looking please don't hesitate to contact them.

My dream became true to visit the island in march 2015. if you go there book at Socotra-Trek.com and ask for Salem the driver and Mahdi the guide. the know a lot about the island and are always joking and smiling. keep in mind this is a low budget trip and there wont be any luxury. this is what i liked. sleeping under the start, eating by hand if you want. food was tasty and fresh all the time. ask at the beginning what you wish and for fresh fruits and vegetable. i liked the car it was comfortable and took us around the island safe. you definately dont need to sell it Salem :-) the tents they provided where dry and warm enough. all good. i did the trip with another tourist together. and i just wanna thanks to salem and mahdi for the great time we had together. cannot complain about everything. especially as a solo travelling woman you will be safe. go ahead book. by the way if you take the direct flight from dubai you dont need to worry about the unrest on yemen. socotra is totally safe.
