Very good place to visit . Early morning before 7 am is the right time for sunrise. No foods available nearby. Toilets are available but not in usable conditions especially for women. Other wise overall good experience.

Been here in Jan 2015. The sunset from the hill was very beautiful. The road to hills was narrow and steep. Be careful while driving. There is 63 steps to climb up which is very easy. There is a Jain temple on top. More info on my blog

This is a little away from thirthahalli and before Agumbe and a must visit. The ride atop is nice and roads a very good throughout. There are sharp hairpin bends. There a jain temple located. Definitely must visit for Sunrise or sunset..
Highly recommended 👍

I first visited this place in may 2014 and ever since then, I visited 6 times to this place. I would say early morning maybe at 6 in the morning is good time to visit and meditate. You can also enjoy d misty morning and a great view of the hillocks nearby with serene and peaceful environment. I love this place.

The road to hill top is not so wide and there so many turns. Big vehicles like buses can not go up. It is around 4-5 Kms and takes about 20 minutes.

There is a Jain temple on top of the hill. The pujari (pandit) stays at the bottom of the hill and he comes three times a day. So, if you are specifically to have darshan of Lord Parasnath, it is advisable to get the keys before you go up or ask him to come along. His family and ancestors has been taking care of this temple since many years.

There are 2 ponds on top of hill, they are very deep, it is advisable not to jump in. The view from the hill top is amazing. We were there at the time of sunset. Many people had come to see the beautiful sunset.

It is one of the prettiest place in Karnataka and a visit for all.

Kudadri provide breath taking view for the nature lover. Second highest peak in Karnataka. The Jain temple at the top is 3000 year old. The 2 ponds out of 3 ponds will not dry even in Summer. The road condition is not good and steep uphill, most of the time car should be moved in 1st gear only. Must visit place in Karnataka

On our way back from Agumbe to Thirthahalli, we stopped over at Kundadri. It was a great 4 KMS drive up the hill through those narrow roads, twists and turns, winding up the hill.. and once at the top you get a fantastic view!! Don't miss this place.

If you want to enjoy the trip to Kundadri, you should scale this hill by foot. What a desi mountaneering experience!. In terms of publicity it is a poor cousin to Himalayan trekking, but it does give you satisfaction when you scale this hill. You can walk alongside clouds when you are on top of Kundadri! Though, the vehicle can go very much up to the peak, you should venture on your legs only!

The place is good. The roads are not good and there are pin curves. Not recommended during the summer and hot sunny days. Don't go during the afternoon. Morning and evening is better. There are no shops once you reach the top, so better take something to drink or eat before the ascent.

Breathtaking view from the top. Monsoon and winter would be the best time to visit. Mist will cover the area and the feeling is wonderful. The road towards the hilltop is narrow and need expertise in driving in that section. Care should be taken while negotiating the hairpins bends.
