Very good place to visit . Early morning before 7 am is the right time for sunrise. No foods available nearby. Toilets are available but not in usable conditions especially for women. Other wise overall good experience.

After darshana of Sri Sharadamba at Sringeri, we decided to go to Kundadri hills. It's about 28km from Sringeri. Last 8 km it's tough driving as climbing steep hills and sharp U turns. Somehow I managed to drive up with four people in the small car. You walk up about 75 steps after parking the car.
There is a Jain Basadi (Temple) and a priest will be happy to explain about the history of the place.
There is a pond with water on the rocks. The view is beautiful.

Kundadri is a hill near agumbe

Where a Jain Temple is situated
Vehicles can go up to the top ,and have to walk a few steps heading a beautiful place from where one can view the breathtaking landscapes and sun set .

Awesome place to trek also from base for 5kms
Evening and morning fog and chill adds to the beautiful scenery

Please don't litter or through the the wastes

Jain Basadi situated on top of the hill. Weather is pleasant here and you will get beautiful views of surrounding hills. You can even visit Basadi. It is better to visit early in the morning or during sunset time. You can drive till the top of the hill. The last 4 km of road is narrow and not that good. But motorable, not a problem.
Best time to visit will be during monsoon or just after the monsoon season.

Road towards the hill is very curvaceous, narrow and steep. There are immediate bends on the way. Please check the map to the top before driving. All your worries will go off once you reach the top of the hill. there are 25 steps to be climbed from parking space. There is a small jain temple which is from 17th century. you will be among clouds. Its totally worth going.

Looks like giant rock till you reach peak. Can see lavish green and clouds at a point of time. Sunrise and Sunset both looks really nice.

A very picturesque and peaceful place. You get a great view of the valley from atop the hill. The Parshwanath temple is simple and beautiful.

We saw the sunrise. A wonderful experience amidst misty clouds. We passed through thick forest hearing chirping birds and wild calls.

This place is amazing located in the malnad region in between Tirthahalli and on the way towards Agumbe. To reach this place one should be having great skills I driving because the roads are very steep with hairpin curves. But it's worth driving once you get there.
