Nice place to go with kids. You can see there the San Felipe del Morro Castle from the other side of the San Juan Bay. Also you see there and Small Castle that was used also to defend the San Juan Bay. If you have a boat or Jet Sky there is a place to put into the water.

The site and the view are magnificent. But the structures - gazebos, main building, lookout- are mostly in shambles. The Park administration only works until noon. Recently the administration building was broken into and the phones stolen, so it was impossible to book a gazebo beforehand. The electrical wiring in the gazebos had also been stolen. At least we could enjoy the spectacularview.

To get to the ruins they don't let you pass by car unless you ride with jetsky because they use the entrance area to pull the boats and the traffic signs are well advertised to get to the gate of the jetsky you have to use the right lane and salor from the left and all you see are some arrows on the ground that indicates anyone can be confused because the norm is to enter from the right and salor from the left beware of the policeman.
