Nice couple of hours spent wandering around the various temples dating back to the 10th century. The monks are friendly and happy to chat to you and answer questions. Quite a drive from Leh, but worth it as the drive very scenic.

This monastery or Gompa is a seat of Tantric Buddhism. It is a complex of different structures. The entry to the structures is through low height doors but houses big statues of Buddha.
