We(3 families with kids) enjoyed the trip, the temple was full of devotees. Mata chintpurni darshan line was not very long, however, It took us about 1.5 hr to enter into the temple. Devotees line is not very well managed, people keep rushing and jumping forward to save time and annoy others standing in queue.

Good drive from Una, its around 80km from una town, roads are well maintained. Around 1km before the temple the road is blocked for traffic and good parking is made. From there you have to walk, if lucky you will get lift also. All along the road you find market selling Parsaad, and restaurants. On reaching the temple, there is... More

I really liked this temple and the way it has been managed by the trust over there. For devotees there are 2 separate lines and for the devotees who want to offer worship by laying down to the ground there is a separate line. Overall very good experience.

If you expect that this temple located in State of Himalayas will be a calm place located in pristine surrounding then you will be headed for disappointment. The temple has got surrounded by rows of shops. There are a lot of gates to enter so after coming out of temple it will be difficult to locate where you had left... More

The Chintapurni temple is situated on top of a hill 178km from Chandigarh in the district of Una, Himachal Pradesh. The Chandigarh-Una highway is excellent and only the last 20km is hilly. A parking is available around 1-1.5km from the temple, the rest of the way is steep climb. Lots of shops, hotels and eateries are situated on both sides... More

Ancient & magnificent temple. Is extremely crowded & you get darshan of the goddess for only few seconds. Better to go from main entrance & not try shortcut through shops nearby.
