We had visited the lake on the way back from Narkanda to Shimla by taking detour in opposite direction of around 10 Kms. Truly, I and all my friends didn't like the place at all as there is nothing to do and look around. Nor also a scenic beauty to look upon.

It's a nice lovely place a few kilometres away from Narkanda on way to Thanedar. It's looks more like a man made lake and a temple dedicated to Nag devta at one corner. It's a nice quaint place. There is nothing to do here. Go there for a short walk along the lake. There is a small playground near the lake. after visiting this place do go to Thanedar to visit the apple orchards. Apple's in Himachal were introduced by a gentleman Mr Stokes, in Thanedar. A statue of Mr Stokes is also there in the Narkanda market.

Man made, smallest lake I have ever seen, with no facilities or anything around it. We visited this place on Dec 27th, 2019 and it was frozen. No activities around it. Quiet a boring place to be with nothing to do around and drive from Narkanda was about 1 hr, not worth it at all.

A beautiful and remote lake or a natural pond in midst of natural beauty of hills and pines, with breathtaking view.

This lake is approximately 500 feet above the road level. While passing through the Narkanda to Ramgarh in the village Jarol this lake and a Nagdevta temple is a must to visit. This lake is a small lake but surrounded by trees. The area is well maintained by the Gram Panchayat. Adjoining the lake there is very old and famous Nagdevta temple.

If you have nothing to do then only go to this place. The lake is very small and not that clean. Around is the park like area where you can roam or do a small picnic thing. If you want to click some typical lake side pictures then you may visit this place. There’s a small temple adjacent to lake.
